North Course
A Tour-Test Challenge with Scottish Flair
Host of the 2007 Canadian Open, the North Course at Angus Glen is internationally recognized for its tournament pedigree and distinct design. Inspired by classic Scottish links, the course features dramatic fescue-covered dunes, jagged contours, and signature sod-wall bunkers that stand up to four feet tall. These steep, layered faces add a strategic and visual edge that golfers won’t soon forget.
The North Course is built on Providence Bentgrass from tee to green, offering upright growth that delivers consistent lies and smooth, true rolls on the putting surfaces. Thanks to our meticulous grooming and topdressing program, the greens stay fast, with subtle undulations that reward precision and challenge even the most confident putters.
With four sets of tee decks and a state-of-the-art irrigation system ensuring optimal course conditions, the North Course is as playable as it is striking. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a casual round, this course delivers the perfect blend of challenge, beauty, and enjoyment.
South Course
Championship-Calibre Golf, Reimagined
Home of the 2002 Canadian Open, the South Course at Angus Glen has long been recognized for its playability and pedigree. In 2015, the course underwent a stunning $6 million transformation led by the acclaimed golf architecture firm MacKenzie & Ebert, whose portfolio includes legendary venues like Turnberry, Royal Troon, and Royal St. George’s.
Their redesign brought a renewed sense of flow, strategy, and visual drama to the course. Enhancements included reshaped greens, re-contoured fairways, expanded bunkering, and improved playability—creating a more refined experience while preserving the character that made the South Course a favorite among PGA professionals and everyday players alike.
The result is a modern classic: a beautifully maintained parkland-style course with generous landing areas, subtle elevation changes, and striking vistas that make every round memorable. Whether you’re competing in a corporate tournament or enjoying a casual day with friends, the South Course delivers a fair yet formidable test of skill in a world-class setting.
