Our History
1957

1957
Arthur Stollery purchases farmland to raise Black Aberdeen Angus Cattle. He names the property Angus Glen Farm.
1967

1967
Arthur Stollery begins breeding thoroughbred race horses, which achieved racing success in Canada and internationally.
1995

1995
Golf Course and clubhouse opens. Golf Digest rates Angus Glen as the “Best New Course in Canada”.
1996

1996
Gordon Stollery began building a community surrounding the golf club—Angus Glen Community.

Construction begins on the North Course. A 50,000 sq.ft. addition is started on the clubhouse. The new clubhouse & conference centre reaches 65,000 sq.ft.

Telus Skins Game is played on the brand new North Course.

Bank of Montreal Canadian Women’s Open is contested on the South Course.

Angus Glen South Course hosts the Canadian Open.

North Course undergoes renovations led by Davis Love III in preparation for the 2007 Canadian Open.
